Dr. Sophia Solomon, DPM is a podiatrist and skilled foot and ankle surgeon with a focus on sports injuries, deformities of the foot and ankle and pediatrics of the lower extremity. She joined Atlantic Orthopedics & Sports Medicine in December, 2023.

Dr. Solomon graduated from the renowned New York College of Podiatric Medicine and went on to complete a 3 year reconstructive foot and ankle surgical residency at Wyckoff Heights Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY where she served as chief resident.

Dr. Solomon understands the importance of customized treatment plans to suit each patient’s individual goals. A multidisciplinary approach is key to her method and she works closely with her patients’ other care providers to give them the best chance to their prior level of activity. Dr. Solomon specializes in arthroscopy of the ankle, lateral ankle stabilization, Achilles tendon repair, minimally-Invasive bunion and hammer-toe surgery, plantar-plate repair and fracture reduction/fixation.

Dr. Solomon was a gymnast and competitive cheerleader and always had an interest in anatomy and surgery. This led her to the path of becoming a foot and ankle surgeon. These days, she spends her free time mountain biking and running.
